Test Center Administrator
Job Description
Job Title: Test Center Administrator
Location: Jacksonville, FL (Baymeadows area)
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour (with increases based on performance)
Type: Temp / Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: 9-hour shifts, typically 7AM – 5PM (end time varies based on testing schedule)
Position Overview:
We are hiring Test Center Administrators to support a professional testing facility in Jacksonville. This role is responsible for helping administer exams in a structured, quiet, and controlled environment.
This is a straightforward, process-driven position. You do not need advanced technical skills, but you must be dependable, attentive, and able to follow instructions.
The goal is to bring in reliable individuals, train them, and transition them to full-time employees after approximately 520 hours worked.
Key Responsibilities:

Check in test candidates and verify identification

Monitor testing rooms to ensure rules and procedures are followed

Maintain a quiet and controlled environment

Provide basic instructions to candidates

Observe for any irregular behavior and report as needed

Assist with basic computer functions related to testing (no advanced skills required)

Follow all procedures exactly as instructed

Requirements:

Must be reliable and punctual

Ability to follow instructions and remain attentive for extended periods

Comfortable using basic computer systems (no advanced skills required)

Professional demeanor in a structured environment

Ability to remain calm and observant
Work Conditions / Expectations:
-
9-hour shifts, typically 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, may end slightly earlier or later depending on testing schedule

Must remain on-site for the full shift

Must take a 30-minute lunch break on-site

Full kitchen is available for employee use
-
Due to strict industry regulations:
-
No personal cell phone use during working hours
-
Employees may use the facility landline to communicate with family if needed

Employees may not leave the facility during shifts

No shorts (pants required)

No flashy shoes

No shirts with writing (logos are acceptable)
