We are seeking an experienced Fleet / Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and air brake systems

• Maintain and repair hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and valves

• Inspect equipment for safety and operational readiness

• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records

• Ensure shop upkeep, organization, and cleanliness

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic working on fleet vehicles and/or heavy equipment preferred

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and air brake systems preferred

• Experience working with brands such as CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, Peterbilt, Kenworth, etc.

• Welding certification

• Experience with fleet management software

• Valid driver’s license required

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions

Work Environment

• Work performed in both shop and outdoor environments

• Exposure to noise, dust, grease, chemicals, and varying weather conditions

• Overtime and weekend work may be required

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
