Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Working in the finishing department doing belt grinding to perform precision smoothing, polishing, or grinding of objects. Using belt grinders, hand grinders and radial grinders to remove metal burrs and non-confirming edges on parts.

 

 

Job Duties:

• Set up and operate standard manufacturing equipment

• Deburr, buff or polish materials to specifications.

• May be required to use hand tools as needed

• Quality Checks

• General upkeep of working area including and up to sweeping, organizing and cleaning.

 

 

Skills and Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in a foundry setting.

• Working in a high heat environment.

• Comfortable lifting, standing, bending, carrying throughout your shift.

• Steel Toe Boots
