Job Description
Job Responsibilities: Finishing role performs any combination of following tasks in the foundry concerned with removing castings from molds, dressing castings, moving foundry materials, and cleaning equipment and work areas. Job Duties: • Knock-out : separating castings from ceramic mold box. • Plasma Cutting : to remove casting parts from the tree. • Cut-off : saw based removal of castings from the tree. • Revert Organization : post cut-off the importance of sorting revert material. • Wheelabrator • Sand Blasting • Grinding : belt grinding • Quality Inspection • Production • Packaging Skills and Qualifications : • Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day • Ability to work with hands in repetitive motions for 8+ hours a day • At least 1 year of experience in a foundry setting • Steel toe work boots Benefits upon hire in: • Bonuses: after 90 days $1 per hour worked weekly based on attendance.
