Finishing Associate (3rd Shift)
Job Description
We are seeking Finishing Associates for an established company in the Fruitport, MI area who will process parts per customer requirements.
Schedule: Sunday thru Thursday, 10pm to 6:30am, with overtime as needed
Job Duties of the Finishing Associate:
Process castings through automated finish cell per job specific work instructions.
Load saw fixture for gating and riser removal.
Visually inspect casting per customer requirements while maintaining production flow.
Perform audits and gage parts when required.
Record scrap and/or production information into Plex.
Recommend improvements for completing tasks and/or finishing improvement.
Maintain work area keeping it clean from sand.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications of the Finishing Associate:
Experience in a manufacturing setting.
Comfortable in a high heat environment.
Must be able to read and understand work instructions.
Must be able to write and complete required paperwork and enter information into Plex system.
Must have basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
