Job Description

We are seeking an Equipment Admin For a manufacturing facility on the westside of Jacksonville.

Schedule: Monday to Friday dayshift

Pay: $22/hr

This position will manage and organize the spare part room, check the inventory and order the spare parts in low quantities. The specialist needs to regularly check the spare part quantities to ensure the real stock quantities match the electric records, clean and organize the spare parts so they can be easily located. The specialist also needs to communicate with the purchase department in Malaysia to process the spare part orders or communicate with the local purchase department to place urgent orders. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Manage spare part inventory, ensuring the correct quantities and correct locations of spare parts in stock 

  • Manage spare part stock-in and stock-out progress, extract spare parts from PMC when new parts are delivered.

  • Ability to operate CMMS System to update the spare part list.

  • Assist Engineering team in searching specific parts.

  • Work with Engineering team to establish spare parts purchase requests through OA system.

  • Assist U.S. and Malaysia Procurement team with part information.

  • Analyze monthly spare part consumption rate to better plan monthly purchase requests.

  • Report to Department Leadership about any issue regarding spare parts.

  • Maintain the spare part room clean and orderly.

  • Update Training Matrix for Equipment

  • Assist Department Leadership 

 

COMPETENCIES

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills.

  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate clearly in both English and Mandarin (preferred)

 

The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school or above

  • Education in engineering background is preferred but not required

  • Working experience in industries is preferred but not required

  •
