Position Overview
We are seeking a highly empathetic and motivated Elder Law Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and public benefits planning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping older adults navigate legal challenges, coupled with a strong foundation in elder law and a commitment to lifelong learning. You will work closely with clients to develop comprehensive solutions, with a focus on personalized service and long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert counsel in estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
• Handle probate and trust administration, ensuring the efficient management and distribution of estates.
• Advise clients on Medicaid planning, VA benefits, and other public benefits programs.
• Advocate for clients in elder abuse, guardianship, and conservatorship cases.
• Collaborate with team members to provide seamless, transparent communication with clients and their families.
• Stay updated on changes in elder law, including legislative and regulatory updates.
• Leverage technology to streamline legal processes and enhance the client experience.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 3-5 years of experience in elder law, estate planning, probate, and public benefits planning.
• Active license to practice law in [State].
