Would you like to be a part of a dynamic, exciting, and growing company? We have a client in the Ferrysburg area who is a proven leader in investment casting in Western Michigan, is currently looking for full-time Dip Operator.

Job Duties of the Dip Operator:

• Working in all areas of the finishing department as necessary including :

  • Knock-out : separating castings from ceramic mold box

  • Plasma Cutting : to remove casting parts from the tree

  • Cut-off : saw based removal of castings from the tree

  • Revert Organization : post cut-off the importance of sorting revert material

  • Wheelabrator

  • Sand Blasting

  • Grinding : belt grinding, finish grinding and deburr

  • Quality Inspection

  • Staging : Organization of finished goods by work order and customer for turnover to packaging process

  • Packaging : Wrapping and/or packing to prepare for turnover to shipping personnel

• Take metal products and dip them into wax to create a wax mold.

• Allow wax layers to dry before dipping again.

• Inspect finished wax product.

• Ensure wax molds are carefully removed from the metal, keeping them intact.

• Place wax dies under the wax press.

Skills and Qualifications of the Dip Operator:

• At least 1 years’ experience in a foundry setting

• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day

• Must be able to work with hands in repetitive motions for 8+ hours a day

• Steel toe work boots

• Bonuses: after 90 days $1 per hour worked weekly based on attendance. Have had bonuses of $450-500 with no attendance issues.
