Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment while ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pumps, cylinders, and valves

  • Inspect equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness

  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records

  • Assist with shop upkeep, organization, and cleanliness

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area

  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic working on fleet vehicles and/or heavy equipment (preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Diesel engines

    • Hydraulic systems

    • Electrical systems

    • Air brake systems

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions

  • Experience working with equipment brands such as CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, Peterbilt, and Kenworth

 

**Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.****
