Customer Service Rep (1st Shift)
Job Description
We are seeking Customer Service Representatives for an established company in the Grand Rapids, MI area who will answer incoming calls, emails, or chats to assist customers with inquiries, orders, or issues.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
Job Duties of the Customer Service Rep:
Process quotes, orders, information requests from website, emails and phone.
Manage order throughout order process.
Provide customers with product details, ship schedule, tracking information.
Assist customer after shipment with technical information, returns, damage.
Keep a positive and empathetic attitude with each customer interaction.
Ensure turnaround times to customers are met.
Provide detailed and accurate outputs.
Consistent education on mechanical aptitude in order to master technical aspects of product.
Skills and Qualifications of the Customer Service Rep:
Experience in customer service, customer-facing, or sales in a commercial office environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Mechanical and math aptitude.
Active listener.
Ability to understand and relate to customer's expectations and main points.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work within a team environment.
