We are hiring for a part time custodian on the Southside of Jacksonville.

The Custodial Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition, safety, and functionality of our office location. This position ensures a clean, organized, and professional working environment. Responsibilities include performing facilities cleaning, facility inspections, grounds maintenance, inventory of cleaning supplies, and responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Core Days & Times: Mondays and Thursday 7am-3pm *Days and times can vary or change based on business needs.

Pay: $16/hr

• Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests submitted by management.

• Ensure company grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, and entrances remain clean, safe, and presentable.

• Clean, dust, sanitize and maintain breakrooms, conference rooms, restrooms, storage areas, and common workspaces.

• Replace light bulbs, air filters, smoke detector batteries, and other routine building components.

• Monitor building safety and immediately correct or report hazardous conditions.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of commercial building cleaning, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

• Stand, walk, climb ladders, kneel, crouch, bend, and reach for extended periods.

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to safely use ladders, power equipment, and maintenance tools.

Additional Requirements

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

• Must maintain confidentiality regarding company property, equipment, and internal operations.

• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work occasional overtime or after-hours when emergencies or business needs require.

• Other duties may be assigned to meet the operational needs of the organization.
