Cabinet Assembler (1st Shift)

Job Description
We are seeking a Cabinet Assembler for an established company in the Shelby, MI area who will be cutting, shaping, and assembling wooden articles and operating a variety of wood working machines.
Job Duties of the Cabinet Assembler:
Inspect wood and stock pieces for blemishes or defects.
Utilize hand and power tools to assemble products.
Set up or operate table saws, hand routers, boring machines or other wood working tools.
Accurately read and mark measurements on lumber.
Make adjustments on component parts.
Properly read assembly instructions.
Skills and Qualifications of the Cabinet Assembler:
Technical aptitude
Mechanical aptitude
Previous Woodworking experience is highly preferred
Resume with Interview at company
Ability to lift, twist, and bend for 8+ hours a day
Ability to work overtime as company may need
Pay is based on woodworking experience
