We are seeking CNC Machine Operators for an established company in the Shelby, MI area who will be operating wood CNC machinery that cuts, shapes, and engraves wood using pre-programmed designs.

Schedule: Monday thru Thursday, 3pm to 1pm, with mandatory overtime as needed. 

Job Duties of the CNC Machine Operator:

• Prepare and set up the CNC machine for specific tasks.

• Load wood materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment.

• Adjust machine settings (such as speed, feed rate, and depth of cut) based on the job specifications.

• Read blueprints, designs, or CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to understand the desired output.

• Monitor the CNC machine while it's in operation to ensure accuracy and proper functioning.

• Control machine functions like start/stop and feed speed adjustments.

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and tolerances.

• Identify and troubleshoot machine issues or malfunctions.

Skills and Qualifications of the CNC Machine Operator:

• Technical & Mechanical aptitude.

• Resume with Interview @ company.

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

• Must be able to lift, twist, and bend for 8+ hours a day.

• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
