CNC Machine Operator (1st Shift)

Job Description
We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator for an established company in the Shelby, MI area who will be operating and overseeing CNC machines to produce parts and components as per design specifications.
Job Duties of the CNC Machine Operator:
Operate CNC machines to produce parts based on pre-programmed instructions.
Load raw materials (metal, wood, etc.) into the CNC machine and unload finished parts.
Start and monitor machine operations to ensure the product is made according to specifications.
Keep a close eye on machine operations during the production cycle to detect any issues or malfunctions.
Inspect and measure finished parts using calipers, micrometers, or other precision tools to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, feed, and cutting tools) as needed to maintain product quality.
Skills and Qualifications of the CNC Machine Operator:
Experience with CNC Operation - Mills / Lathes.
Experience with Reading Blueprints and measurements.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day.
