We are hiring for a Buyer in Northeast Florida. This is a full time direct hire position.

As a Buyer, you would be responsible for source selection and procurement functions directly associated with the company's needs for indirect materials and/or services, fixed assets and/or tooling, and direct materials to support production. These products/services are to be secured at the most effective but maintaining the highest quality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform cost analysis to ensure most cost-effective supplier.

• Create purchase orders based on current inventory vs. demand.

• Monitor full lifecycle of purchase orders.

• Monitor and ensure all purchasing reports have most up to date information.

• Interact with multiple departments to address any concerns/shortages.

• Attend meetings as needed.

• Manage “Book of Business” to include multiple suppliers ensuring customer/vendor relationship while maintaining high quality, on time delivery, and pricing.

• Adhere to all company's purchasing policies.

• Have ability to work independently and as a member of cross functional team.

• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 5 years of experience or associate’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

• Knowledgeable with ERP/MRP systems preferably VISUAL.

• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Software to include Excel, Work, and Power Point
