We are seeking an Automatic Press Operator for an established company in the Norton Shores, MI area who will be setting up, running, and monitoring up to 1,000-ton presses, and ensuring that quality stampings are produced per production order & engineering specifications. 

Job Duties of the Automatic Press Operator:

• Set up and adjust stamping press according to die set-up sheet.

• Select and verify appropriate steel coils to ensure product meets customer requirements.

• Frequently load, unload, lift/move, pull/push, and/or position products and materials weighing up to 40 pounds, occasionally weighing more.

• Properly pack parts in correct pin/storage container per packaging instructions to meet customer requirements while ensuring proper labeling requirements are followed. 

• Ensure and maintain safety and cleanliness of work area by performing housekeeping duties.

• Meet daily production requirements.

Skills and Qualifications of the Automatic Press Operator:

• High School Diploma/GED.

• 1 years’ experience running stamping presses.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.

• Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
