Job Description

We are seeking Assembly Technicians for an established company in the Ormond Beach, FL area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Assembly Tech:

  • Work as part of a production team to assemble parts.
  • Unpack cardboard boxes.
  • Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks or bins.
  • Assemble small parts manually.
  • Use production machinery to seal.
  • Clean assembled parts and places in protective bags or boxes.
  • Package assembled parts into cardboard boxes.
  • Pack, seal and move boxes.
  • Pick up, move and sort small parts.
  • Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications / Requirements of the Assembly Tech:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be friendly, courteous, service-oriented, and flexible and enjoy working with a variety of staff.
  • Must be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; work well under pressure; able to manage multiple projects.


Competencies of the Assembly Tech:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
