Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for assembling metal products using presses, hand tools, etchers, etc. Using precision measurements. Use tools to make or repair parts and products. Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures. Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.

Job Duties:

•Use tools to make or repair parts and products.

• Read and Comprehend instructions and blueprints, as well as follow established procedures.

• Take precise measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.

• Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications.

• Align material and put together parts to build bearings.

• Check output to ensure the highest quality.

• Keep records of production quantities and time.

• Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts.

• Ability to operate wash tanks, hand presses, laser etcher and automatic press to assist in assembly operation.

• Ability to complete first-piece and quality inspections as required for each part, and record information.

Skills and Requirements:

• Assembly experience is preferred.

• Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings, instructions, etc.

•High attention to detail and ability to work with small tedious parts at a fast pace.

•Use of gaging/measurement tools like micrometers and calipers a plus

• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
