We are seeking an Assembly Tech for an established company in the Norton Shores, MI area who can assemble component and sub-assembly parts into dispenser or component assemblies using fasteners and hand or power tools, partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties.

Job Duties of the Assembly Tech:

• Read and follow job packets containing operation descriptions and item listings with quantities. 

• Position parts according to the knowledge of the unit being assembled or following blueprints. 

• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.

• Handle parts with due care so as not to damage them during assembly. 

• Fill out reject tags and make sure that rejected material is handled properly.

Skills and Qualifications of the Assembly Tech:

• Education Experience: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. 

• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• National background check required

• Resume-based with interview at client site.

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
