Assembly Tech (1st Shift)
Job Description
We are seeking an Assembly Tech for an established company in the Muskegon, MI area who will fit and assemble metal fab, machined, rotor-molded, electrical, injection molded, and cast parts to build various floor cleaning equipment according to specifications, using a variety of hand & power tools.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 6am to 2:30pm
Job Duties of the Assembly Tech:
Short-cycle mechanical assembly
Electro-mechanical assembly
Performing all operations
Complete pre-assemblies of parts for transfer to full assembly.
Properly document daily production
Visually inspect items
Must be responsible for the quality of workmanship, function, and cosmetic appearance of the product, and tool upkeep.
Monitor inventory levels and advise supervisor of potential part shortages.
Skills and Qualifications of the Assembly Tech:
One year’s experience within Lean Manufacturing environment preferred.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, lift and reach for 8+ hours.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
