Bookkeeper
Job Description
Our tax and accounting firm is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks skills to support daily financial operations for multiple clients. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment during peak tax seasons.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain daily bookkeeping for multiple small business clients
• Enter and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll reporting
• Help prepare documents for tax filings and support CPAs as needed
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized electronic and physical financial records

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) required
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• High accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail
• Solid communication and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
