Accounting Clerk
Job Description
Location: Ocala, FL
Pay Rate: $20-$22+ per hour, based on experience
This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while maintaining productivity even when team members are out of the office.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Maintain accurate financial records and accounts.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and receipts.

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Maintain productivity during team absences and provide support as needed.
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as an accountant or bookkeeper.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Experience with accounts payable and receivable.

Ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks efficiently.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
This is a Temp-to-Hire position with a raise and full benefits (PTO, Insurance and 401k) when hired in.
