Accounting Clerk Part Time
Job Description
Job Title: Accounting Clerk (Part-Time)
Pay: $20/hour
Hours: 20 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Job Summary:
The Accounting Clerk provides day-to-day support for accounts payable and general bookkeeping activities. This role focuses on processing vendor invoices and payments, maintaining accurate records, and performing routine clerical and accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices, payments, and data entry

Maintain vendor master files

Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping

Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets and account reconciliations

Support general ledger reconciliations and month-end close activities

Perform filing, typing, and other administrative duties as assigned

Communicate clearly and professionally with internal departments and vendors
Qualifications:
-
Basic knowledge of accounting principles

Experience with electronic accounts payable systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), especially Excel reconciliations

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
