We are seeking a Custodian/Assembly Specialist for an established manufacturing company in the Jacksonville, FL area who will be responsible for performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, as well as assembling simple furniture pieces as needed.

Job Duties of the Custodian/ Assembly Specialist:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Remove trash and recycling materials from designated areas.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
• Assemble simple furniture pieces such as desks, chairs, and bookshelves.
• Inspect furniture pieces to ensure they are assembled correctly and without defects.
• Move furniture as needed to clean and maintain designated areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications / Requirements of the Custodian/Assembly Specialist:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior custodial and/or furniture assembly experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret simple furniture assembly instructions.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Schedule:

• Sunday-Thursday 9: 00 AM - 5: 45 PM
