Fulfillment Associate (1st Shift)
Job Description
We are seeking a Fulfillment Associate for an established company in the St. Augustine area who will be responsible for assisting where needed and performing an array of duties, including receiving, labeling, and assessing stock for damages and store incoming shipments.
Job Duties of the Fulfillment Associate:
- Pick orders from stock, pack, fulfill, and ship orders
- Receive incoming deliveries for accuracy and verify items are undamaged, of sound quality, and accurate quantities.
- Process cycle counts, labeling, and stockpile merchandise according to size, color, and design.
- Record stock into logistics software programs (ShipHero, Shopify, Inventory Planner)
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper paperwork, packaging, and quantity for each order and deliver to the staging area.
- Record and manage all impaired and damaged merchandise.
- Review work orders and layout garments for printing.
- Inspect the quality of finished products to meet quality standards
- Catch, stack, fold, pack, and label all printed garments.
- Ensure the warehouse/facility area is cleaned, organized, and safety procedures are followed
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklift, pallet jacks, and essential tools. Report any issues found
- Provide dependable, shift-long coverage of the warehouse facilities to ensure order fulfillment operates efficiently for shift duration.
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve and optimize warehousing procedures.
- Aid other departments during lulls in your day.
Skills and Qualifications of the Fulfillment Associate:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of related experience as a Warehouse Worker.
- Strong communication, memorization, and teamwork skills
- Capacity to perform your duties diligently, particularly during stressful periods.
- Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
- Dependable daily attendance and work output
- Close attention to detail, a skill essential to identifying order discrepancies and product deficiencies.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Must be able to balance multiple priorities, perform under tight deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Additionally recommended skills include:
- Forklift Operation Certification
- Veteran/Military background
- ShipHero experience
- Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS, and other inventory/logistics software
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office experience.
- Materials handling certifications relevant to the products in stock
- Resiliency; respond well to constructive feedback.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
