Molder (2nd Shift)
Job Description
We are seeking Molders for an established company in the Montague, MI area who can safely operate automatic casting machines that produce raw aluminum parts. This would include properly cycling machines, keeping complete and accurate record of daily production, and possible trimming of excess flash on castings.
Job Duties of the Molder:
- Operate casting equipment
- Accurately recording daily production
- Visual inspection of products
- Packaging products for the next departments operations
- Communicating and concerns with supervisors or team leads
- Keeping molds sprayed correctly
- Applying cast dates and serial numbers to castings
Skills and Qualifications of the Cell Operator:
- 6 months consecutive work history at 1 employer
- High attention to detail
- The ability to lift, twist, and bend for 8+ hours a day
- The ability to walk and be on your feet for 8+ hours a day
- Tour of company & Orientation
- Steel/composite toe shoes
