Line Laborer - E-Coat (1st Shift)
Job Description
We are currently seeking Line Laborers for an established company in the Spring Lake, MI area. The ideal candidate must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform repetitive bending, twisting, and lifting. You must also be able to stand for an entire shift of 8 to 10 hours.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Line Laborer:
- Loading and unloading the line per the production schedule.
- Must know where the process books are located and how to use them; uses visual standards, equipment, gages, fixtures, and techniques to assist production.
- Make sure that the racks are the proper distance apart as defined by the job instruction and set the color change gaps as directed by their Supervisor/Manager. Must ensure racks are cleaned and allow for good metal to metal contact.
- Make sure finished goods are packaged properly as detailed by the work instructions/traveler to meet customer requirements. Bring any errors to your supervisor.
- Must be able to use all of the necessary testing equipment required to determine that a quality part is being produced.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner and acts in accordance with written and/or generally accepted safety rules.
- Will be required to prepare parts for processing, i.E., masking, solvent wiping as called out in the job instructions.
Requirements of the Line Laborer:
- Ability to work full-time and the ability to work overtime.
- Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Ability to report to work on time every day to keep production running to meet customer requirements.
This is a Temp-to-Hire position and the client offers benefits once Hired In.
