Material Handler (1st Shift)

Job Description
We are seeking a Material Handler for an established company in the Muskegon, MI area who will be responsible for operating a forklift and loading & unloading products.
Job Duties of the Material Handler:
Unload and Load – 53’ trailers/expedite vans/our truck/Straight trucks.
Communicate via email and “Hot” board.
Ensure accurate loading of trucks verifying against BOL’s / Carriers.
Internal Material Handling of raw material.
Operate a forklift.
Review incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and document damages to inventory.
Skills and Qualifications of the Material Handler:
Experience working in shipping and packaging
MS Office
BOL's / Carriers
Chauffeurs license is required - once hired in will be utilizing an AE truck for local pick up/deliveries
Ability to lift materials up to 30lbs.
Basic understanding of decimal system
