We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Security Analyst to join our team. Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Information Technology Manager in the development of and compliance with policies that relate to business continuity, and adherence to NIST standard 800-171.

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.

• Utilize established tools to identify and resolve vulnerabilities in hardware and software.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.

• Assist the members of the Information Technology Team by providing technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software problems.

• Assist in setting up and configuring user accounts, email, and access permissions.

• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

• Assist in monitoring policies and protocols.

• Participate in audits and assessments.

• Meet with cross-functional teams to identify technology solutions that support business objectives and report back to IT leaders.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to office365, PC setup, network connectivity, software installation, and hardware maintenance.

• Escalate complex or urgent problems to the appropriate IT staff or vendors.

• Document and track all support cases using a ticketing system.

• Stay updated on the latest IT trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 3 Years or more experience in the Information Technology Industry.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with IT Security

• Minimum 2 Year associate degree in a Technology discipline required.

• Professional/Technical Certifications could satisfy this requirement, but it would be on a case-by-case basis.

• Strong understanding of computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure security.

• Experience working with the Office 365 cloud platform and desktop applications.

• Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or Microsoft Certified Associate) are a plus.
