Job Description

We are seeking a Custodian for an established manufacturing company in the Jacksonville, FL area who will be responsible for performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Schedule: 5:50am to 6pm on at rotating 2/2/3 day schedule


Job Duties of the Custodian:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.

  • Remove trash and recycling materials from designated areas.

  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Qualifications / Requirements of the Custodian:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior custodial experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.

  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
