Job Description

Admin Assistant needed for the Cost Dept of a growing company on the Southside of Jacksonville. 

The Cost Department Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the Cost Department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should possess previous working experience in an administrative role for 3 to 5 years. The applicant will be expected to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

 

Job Duties of the Admin Assistant:

  • Setup and maintenance of job folders – duties to include but are not limited to: recycling old job files and sending them off to archives, filing, and initial setup of new jobs.

  • Separate and file various incoming documents into purchasing job files.

  • Assisting senior staff members with various tasks, duties to include but are not limited to: system maintenance, PO distribution, processing change orders, scanning, and distributing incoming mail.

  • Inputting all orders into the system

  • Assist in maintaining mailing list; perform mass mail-outs.

  • Assist in maintaining and running all closing reports per management deadline

 

Skills and Qualifications of the Admin Assistant:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
