Job Description
Admin Assistant needed for the Cost Dept of a growing company on the Southside of Jacksonville.
The Cost Department Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the Cost Department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should possess previous working experience in an administrative role for 3 to 5 years. The applicant will be expected to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job Duties of the Admin Assistant:
Setup and maintenance of job folders – duties to include but are not limited to: recycling old job files and sending them off to archives, filing, and initial setup of new jobs.
Separate and file various incoming documents into purchasing job files.
Assisting senior staff members with various tasks, duties to include but are not limited to: system maintenance, PO distribution, processing change orders, scanning, and distributing incoming mail.
Inputting all orders into the system
Assist in maintaining mailing list; perform mass mail-outs.
Assist in maintaining and running all closing reports per management deadline
Skills and Qualifications of the Admin Assistant:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in an administrative role
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
